GIARDINO DI KLINGSOR”]

Richard Wagner, nume tutelare del Ravello Festival, giunse a Ravello nel 1880 a dorso di un mulo. Il Maestro di Lipsia, alla vista del giardino di Palazzo Rufolo, trovò l’ispirazione per l’ambientazione del quadro scenico del II atto del Parsifal. Il celebre autografo, lasciato nell’albo della Pensione Palumbo, è un perenne ricordo di quel giorno memorabile: “Il Magico Giardino di Klingsor è trovato”. Nel 1953, in occasione del settantesimo anniversario della morte di Wagner, presero avvio i “Concerti wagneriani nel giardino di Klingsor”.
